Level 1 programs are designed to meet outcomes for Primary students in years 1-3.
Message in a Bottle 1
Teaching conservation and the needs of living things.
Students will learn about the variety of endangered species that reside at UnderWater World, investigate the reasons animals become endangered and identify actions we can all take towards conservation. The program culminates with students creating positive messages to promote conservation to the wider community.
Life and Living 1
Teaching adaptations, life cycles and classification.
Students will identify the observable features that allow animals to be grouped and will gain an understanding of the particular functions of these features. Students will also explore the life stages of different groups of animals. The program also provides students with the opportunity to investigate interactions between living and non-living elements of different aquatic environments.

Level 2 programs are designed to meet outcomes for Primary students in years 3-5.
Message in a Bottle 2
Teaching conservation and the needs of living things.
Students will investigate the relationships within aquatic communities and impacts of changes to environments. Students will also focus on the values and attitudes towards the care of environments and decisions about the balance between resource use and conservation.
Life and Living 2
Teaching adaptations, life cycles and classification.
Students will investigate structural, functional and behavioural adaptations and classification of animals based on their observable characteristics. During this program students will also look at the relationships within living communities and the lifecycles of different animals.

Level 3 programs are designed to meet outcomes for Primary students in years 5-7.

Teaching conservation and the needs of living things.
Students will discover UnderWater World’s threatened and endangered species and determine the human impacts that are associated with their decline. This program allows students to take a positive approach to inform the wider community of ways to help endangered species.
Life and Living 3
Teaching adaptations, life cycles and classification.
Students will investigate the structural, functional and behavioural adaptations and classification of animals at UnderWater World based on their observable characteristics. The program allows students to explore various ecosystems and learn how animals survive in their environments.
